I’m committed to serving you:

  • By strengthening our economy.

  • By protecting our environment.

  • By bringing our community together.

  • By listening to you and working for you.

Let’s win this on November 5.

As an Emergency Room Nurse for over 35 years, I have helped save countless lives. As a leader in the California Nurses Association, I fought hard at Sutter Hospital to increase staffing to safe levels and improve patient care – especially during the struggles of COVID-19. I also previously worked with Sutter to coordinate the Children’s Health and Safety Fair as well as the Women’s Health Fair, boosting healthcare access and awareness across Tracy.

As an Environmental Champion, I have focused my post-nursing career on Tracy Earth Project, an environmental nonprofit I founded in 2017. I led the charge for a Sustainability Commission, inspiring citywide efforts to reduce air pollution, address traffic congestion, and combat extreme summer heat by expanding our tree canopy. I believe in building partnerships, such as the newly launched Green Business Directory with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, to promote sustainable and efficient practices among our local businesses. For these efforts, I was proud to have earned the Key to the City on April 27, 2024!

As a Youth Mentor, one of my top projects is the Tracy Bike Life Youth Program, which recycles bikes that are headed to the landfill, and then teaches kids how to repair them. Over 300 youths (many of whom live in Southside and other overlooked neighborhoods) have developed fundamental mechanical engineering skills in a healthy and fun team-building environment, while also earning free bikes that they get to ride and keep. I partner with local schools to run the Earth Day Challenge, which educates thousands of students each year about key STEM skills, and invests in youth-led projects to improve our local environment. I continue to support opportunities for our youth's education and recreation, including a BMX Pump Track, vocational trainings, and safer bike lanes and parks.

I tended to your wounds and uplifted your spirits when you needed it most. It is with that same unwavering dedication to your wellbeing that I have cared for our community through my many years of outreach and advocacy. My commitment has been to improve our quality of life, with more opportunities for Tracy to become a healthy and welcoming city for all. I would be honored to serve you on the Tracy City Council. With your trust and support, I dedicate myself to the same standard of care in governing our community as I have demonstrated in serving it.
